Marko Arnautovic’s future at West Ham United appears to be a story that will go on for a while.
The Austria international is believed to want to leave the Hammers and appeared to wave goodbye to fans at the London Stadium when he was substituted in their game against Arsenal at the weekend.
West Ham are insistent that the striker will not leave this January, after rejecting an initial bid from China last week.
However, it appears another offer from the Chinese Super League is set to come their way imminently.
It is also claimed that the 29-year-old could be offered a contract worth around £300,000 a week to try and bring him to Asia.
Arnuatovic’s appears to want to leave West Ham, although the Hammers appear to be firm with their current stance.
However, with an improved bid thought to be imminent, the club could look to cash in on their hitman, despite him being their joint-leading goalscorer and a fan favourite.
Should West Ham decide to let him go, they will need to find a replacement to suitably take over, which could make a possible transfer take the whole of January to conclude.
