West Ham skipper is the king of fair play against Manchester City

Punters in the Football Transfer Tavern are standing up and applauding Mark Noble after seeing this vine our landlord put on the big screen.

Despite West Ham United trying to hold on against Manchester City, their skipper showed he had not time or tolerance for time wasting, and pulled Carl Jenkinson to his feet, and made him leave the field for treatment.

Now as our landlord notes, that is a rare show of sportsmanship and something we hardly ever see in the game today at the top level, with diving and time wasting all the range – especially in Europe.

Our West Ham United regulars here in the Tavern are still absolutely buzzing about the result, and we cannot blame them – It was a fantastic result for the London club!

Take a look at this.

City fans….. Has this let teams back in the title race or will it now give you the push you need to carry on and not become complacent? Is this a European hangover? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
