West Ham United fans here in the Tavern are looking forward to next season, as they’ll have their eyes set firmly on securing a European spot.
Indeed, the Hammers flirted with the possibility of relegation for large parts of the campaign, as David Moyes just managed to ensure their safety by producing a number of positive results towards the end of the season. Although, many of our local residents received some negative news recently, as according to The Evening Standard, reported target Ryan Fredericks has hinted that he will stay at Fulham.
Of course, given that Fredericks’ contract expires at the end of the season, it looked as if he would leave Craven Cottage if Fulham failed to secure promotion to the Premier League.
However, despite not yet putting pen-to-paper on a new deal, it looks like the 25-year-old may be set to stay with Fulham.
“It’s up to the people behind the scenes but I’m sure everyone will want to stay and play at the highest level with Fulham and see what we can achieve.”
“Can this club allow me to fulfill my ambitions? Of course. You look at the players we’re attracting, like Aleksandar Mitrovic, we’ve already got Premier League players in the Championship so I’m sure we’re going to build again and have many years in the Premier League.”
“We can achieve a lot. We’re not just going to go there and be one-season wonder. We want to keep the club in the Premier League as long as possible. It’s a Premier League team.”
Ryan Fredericks has established himself as one of the most impressive full-backs in English football, with many of our local residents wanting to see him at the club this summer. Although, it looks as if the Hammers are set to miss out on the defender, as he speaks so highly of Fulham and wants to play for them in the Premier League.
