There have been a host of arrivals at the London Stadium this summer with West Ham spending big money on the likes of Felipe Anderson and Andriy Yarmolenko.
Manager Manuel Pellegrini has also brought in Jack Wilshere to strengthen his midfield, while the former Manchester City boss is said to be chasing Juventus’ Stefano Sturaro as well (Gazzetta dello Sport).
While Wilshere and Sturaro could both be lining up in the middle of the park for West Ham this season, one midfielder whose future looks to be away from the London Stadium is Pedro Obiang.
Given the possible arrival of another midfielder, on top of the signing of Wilshere, Obiang being moved on does make some sense with the West Ham hierarchy probably looking to recoup some money after the club’s spending spree.
Have a look at what Hammers supporters are saying about Obiang’s future below…
This is bad for us. Rather get shot of Kouyate.

Joke if this happens

Ludicrous. Sell Kouyate instead

Thought pellegrini was making him the main man in midfield it’ll be shame to see him go, really hardworking player but all the best if this deal does go through

Selling Obiang imo be big mistake

Cannot help feel that selling Obiang if he goes is a mistake. CDM is key to this team and asking Rice to perform that role without cover is a big job for the lad. I just hope we buy a cdm and not rely on what we got
