Leicester fans in the Transfer Tavern have agreed they will be biting their nails over the summer with the speculation around N’Golo Kante and Riyad Mahrez’s departures and the Daily Mail have reported today that another Foxes star is being targeted.
Jamie Vardy has been key to Leicester’s outstanding season but West Ham United are said to be readying a £20million bid for Claudio Ranieri’s main man.
The Hammers will be playing Premier League football at the Olympic Stadium next year and are hoping that this status will attract top talent from across the world, as a new era for West Ham fans begins.
However, The Mail have been told that West Ham’s chances of signing the 29-year-old are less then slim and are told that the striker is happy at Leicester and not seeking a move elsewhere.
Vardy has scored 24 Premier League goals, registering six assists and is still in contention to take home the Premier League golden boot crown by scoring two more goals then fellow countryman, Harry Kane, this weekend.
Will Leicester retain Jamie Vardy’s services over the summer? Let us know in the comments below!
