West Ham United will return to Premier League action on Saturday afternoon when they host Arsenal at the London Stadium.
The Hammers have had a mixed run of form in the top-flight recently and will be looking to get back to winning ways.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side are winless in their last two Premier League matches and will want to keep the pressure on those around them in the table.
However, it appears that West Ham could be without one man for their London Stadium clash on Saturday afternoon.
The Paraguay international had to undergo minor surgery on his left knee and has since been made unavailable.
However, Samir Nasri is in line to make his Premier League debut for the Hammers against the club that brought him to the league originally.
Balbuena’s absence will come as a huge blow to West Ham’s chances of getting a positive result against Arsenal on Saturday.
The defender has played a key role for the London Stadium outfit since joining this summer and the Irons will hope they do not feel his absence.
Nasri could play a crucial role against his former club and the Hammers’ faithful will be hoping he comes to haunt Arsenal.
