West Ham United will be looking to continue their positive form when they meet Brighton and Hove Albion on Friday night.
The Hammers make the trip to the AMEX Stadium on the back of an impressive draw against Chelsea and then an equally excellent display against Manchester United at the weekend.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side certainly appear to have stopped the rot and will be looking to build on the Everton result that got things started for them.
Pellegrini has revealed that Javier Hernandez has returned to full training after illness, Andy Carroll is edging closer to a return, whilst Marko Arnautovic is fit and ready to lead the attack on Friday.
However, the manager did also confirm that he will be without Carlos Sanchez for a long time as the Colombian will require surgery.
The midfielder picked up a knee injury during their 8-0 thrashing of Macclesfield Town in the League Cup and has been unavailable since.
West Ham will be delighted to see their three frontmen closing in on returns to the side.
Arnautovic has been vital for the Hammers since his arrival from Stoke City in 2017 and will look to continue his own fine start to the campaign, having bagged four goals in six games.
Brighton will prove to be a tricky test for the Irons, however, with Pellegrini’s side starting to click, they could have too much for the Seagulls to compete against.
