West Ham team news: Mark Noble continues to serve his suspension

West Ham United will be preparing to welcome Burnley to the London Stadium on Saturday afternoon as they look to get a win under their belt.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side have gone winless in their last four games across all competitions and will come up against a team with a similar Premier League record.

The Hammers were held to a draw against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium last weekend, however, they will be without one of the men that featured in the game.

According to a match preview by Sky Sports, Mark Noble will have to miss out following the red card he picked up against the Foxes, as he serves his second of a three-match ban.

Aaron Cresswell remains a doubt for the Hammers as he will need to take a late fitness test on a groin problem.

However, Andy Carroll and Jack Wilshere are expected to make a return to first-team action after the international break.

The Verdict:

West Ham will be looking to find just their third Premier League win of the season when they entertain Burnley at the London Stadium.

Noble is a key player to the club and his absence will be a frustrating blow to Pellegrini, especially given how many injuries they already have in the middle of the park, with Wilshere, Carlos Sanchez and Andriy Yarmolenko all unavailable.

The doubtful availability of Cresswell will also be frustrating for the Hammers, however, Pablo Zabaleta is likely to feature after dropping out of the team for their League Cup defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in midweek.
