West Ham United will turn their focus towards the FA Cup this weekend when they host Birmingham City at the London Stadium.
The Hammers will be looking to go as far as possible in the competition and Saturday’s early kickoff could give them the perfect chance to start well.
However, the visitors have been in some fine form under Garry Monk recently and Manuel Pellegrini will be wary of the challenge the Championship outfit could cause.
The former France international midfielder was named on their bench for their Premier League encounter with Brighton and Hove Albion in midweek, however, he did not get the opportunity to come onto the pitch.
Pellegrini is also set to rotate his squad and give a number of his fringe players a chance to impress, as they keep one eye on the top-flight.
Should Nasri get his opportunity, he will look to take advantage of it and show exactly why West Ham decided to offer him a deal until the end of the season.
Plenty of eyes will be on the 31-year-old as he has not played in almost a year and many will be keen to see what he will bring to the London Stadium outfit.
With performing well in the Premier League a priority for the Irons and a home clash against Arsenal at the weekend, Pellegrini will want to see his side pick up some crucial momentum.
