West Ham United: Fans react to ExWHUemployee’s transfer hint on ‘world-class’ striker - Premier League

Fans of West Ham United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which ExWHUemployee discussed the club’s potential interest in Diego Costa.

In his post, ExWHUemployee replied to a question from a West Ham fan asking whether the insider had heard anything regarding the club’s interest in former Atletico Madrid striker, Diego Costa.

In response, ExWHUemployee said that he was ‘currently asking around’ regarding the £9 million-rated free agent, although it ‘wouldn’t surprise’ him to find out that West Ham are interested in the 32-year-old.

Clubs such as Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers have been said to have an interest in the forward, who left Atletico by mutual consent on Tuesday.

In reaction to ExWHUemployee’s tweet, fans of West Ham flocked to have their say on their club’s potential interest in Costa, with some appearing delighted by the news, while others seemed rather less so.
