Fans of West Ham United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which the club shared footage of an Aaron Cresswell free-kick against Manchester United from last season.
The £5.85 million-rated 31-year-old has highly impressed for David Moyes’ side over his 12 Premier League appearances so far this season, providing four assists and averaging a WhoScored match rating of 7.04 – ranking him as the club’s third-best performer in the top flight.
And, in honour of the defender’s birthday on Tuesday, the club’s official Twitter account posted footage of the 31-year-old’s long-range strike against United, which helped to seal a famous 2-0 victory for the Hammers last term.
The sight of the clip appears to have pleased West Ham fans, many of whom took to Twitter to praise the defender’s set-piece, while others simply shared their adoration for Cresswell.
Do you think this has been Cresswell's best season as a West Ham player so far?
So, what exactly did these West Ham United fans have to say in reaction to the footage of Aaron Cresswell’s free-kick?
What a beautiful sight seeing a ball struck so sweet and leaving the keeper with absolutely no chance. Love it Coyi
