According to Metro, Premier League quartet West Ham United, Hull City, Sunderland and Swansea City are interested in Arsenal defender Jenkinson.
The arrival of Mathieu Debuchy at the Emirates Stadium will limit the 22-year old’s opportunities this season.
Arsene Wenger is also believed to be close to securing a deal for Southampton defender Calum Chambers.
So it is more than likely that Jenkinson will find himself shipped out on loan this season.
The defender, who had a spell with non-league side Eastbourne Borough in 2010, made 22 appearances for the Gunners first team last season.
But Wenger is keen to aid the development of the youngster and is likely to offer him the chance to spend a season on loan in the Premier League.
West Ham are one side that are rumoured to be interested in his signature as they look to sure up a leaky pre-season defence.
They also have concerns whether Guy Demel will be at Upton Park next season and Jenkinson would provide great competition for Joey O’Brien.
But the Hammers face a fight from Premier League trio Hull, Sunderland and Swansea with other clubs yet to signal their intentions.
