West Ham United make formal approach to seal deal for £9.5m-rated midfielder

biliccc09The West Ham United fans who are having a pint and a game of darts in The Transfer Tavern this evening are discussing reports of the club making a bid for a new midfielder.

The Daily Star is reporting that the Premier League side have made a formal approach for Levante midfielder Victor Camarase.

With Levante valuing the player at around £9.5 million they could be forced to accept a bid of around £3 million should they drop out of the Spanish top -light at the end of the current season.

Camarase is a Spanish Under-21 international and West Ham boss Slaven Bilic has had the player scouted on numerous occasions this summer.

With Levante currently rock bottom of La Liga it appears that West Ham are in the driving seat to secure the signature of one of Spain’s hottest prospects.

As for the West Ham fans in The Tavern they are delighted to be linked with Camarase and hope to see him in a West Ham shirt at the Olympic Stadium next season.

Meanwhile, our landlord here in the Tavern admits he hasn’t seen much of the 21-year-old midfielder in action, but Bilic has already showcased his ability to secure deals for somewhat unknown players, and turn them into real gems!
