West Ham United reportedly lining up ambitious move for one of Europe’s best managers

West Ham United fans here in the Tavern will be pleased that their side managed to avoid relegation, as they can now prepare for the challenges of next season.

David Moyes has been able to bring about positive change since he took over at the club back in November of last year, as he managed to ensure their safety by producing a number of positive results. Although, it looks as if the club has other ideas, as according to the Sun Sport, West Ham United are lining up a move for Paris Saint-Germain boss Unai Emery.

David Moyes’ future continues to be surrounded with doubt and the Hammers have wasted no time in looking at potential replacements.

Unai Emery is the shock managerial name on the club’s shortlist, with Marco Silva, Manuel Pellegrini and Paulo Fonseca also being eyed up.

Encouragingly, Unai Emery is leaving PSG at the end of the season, so perhaps the Hammers will be able to lure him to the London Stadium. Indeed, the Spaniard would be a massive coup for the club after winning ten trophies in five years with PSG and previous club Sevilla.

Although, Moyes is due to meet with the club’s board next week as his short-term contract expires later on today.

Landlord’s Verdict:

The Hammers will be desperate to land Unai Emery as their new manager after witnessing this season’s inconsistencies, as the Spaniard would be sure to bring success to the London Stadium. Indeed, many of our local residents are beginning to feel rather excited, as they may be able to secure a European spot next season if they can bring Emery to the club.
