There are some rather shocked punters here in the Football Transfer Tavern, as it has been claimed by the Daily Mail that West Ham are set to allow Ravel Morrison to leave the club on loan.
The midfielder had been linked with a move back to former club Manchester United, yet it seems that a loan deal which will see him move to Championship side Queens Park Rangers.
Morrison is without a doubt one of the most talented young players around, but after his recent groin troubles and the fact that West Ham are facing a relegation dog fight, it seems that a loan deal is on the cards – and it is one that will see him help the promotion bid for Harry Redknapp’s side.
We think that come the summer, Morrison could well be set for a move to bigger and better things – and he could even make the step up to the senior England squad, but at the minute, he needs to be playing football week in week out and be with a manager who can handle him – and we know that Harry Redknapp would certainly be able to do that!
Will Morrison help the promotion push? Let us know your thoughts below.
