There has been many arrivals and not that many departures so far this summer and that does not look like changing.
As according to talkSPORT, West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has ruled out the departure of former Gillingham and Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Matt Jarvis.
That comes after reports suggested that West Bromwich Albion were interested in bringing the 28-year-old back to the West Midlands.
Jarvis became the Hammers’ club record signing in 2012 when he signed from Wolves in a transfer worth £10.75 million.
The winger has endured mixed fortunes at Upton Park since the move playing regularly but without ever really setting the place alight.
However the midfielder’s lightning pace has seen him get in the right positions when it comes to feeding the strikers.
And with the Hammers investing highly in attackers this summer, it would be no surprise to see Jarvis have the season of his life.
When asked about Jarvis’ future at the club, Allardyce simply said: “Matt Jarvis will not be leaving us.”
