West Ham United submit multi-million pound bid for clinical striker

BaccaWest Ham fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are hoping their club can provide a marquee signing by the time they move into the Olympic Stadium.

According to Sky Italia via talkSPORT, the Hammers have put forward a £15 million bid to AC Milan for their striker Carlos Bacca.

The Hammers have been heavily linked with Lyon forward Alexandre Lacazette but the move has not come to fruition since the rumours.

Leaving fans in the Tavern concerned that they may not sign a big name this summer.

But if the Irons can bring in Bacca it would certainly be a big coup as he scored 24 goals for his club and country last season.

Milan will not want to part company with the forward it is expected that they will reject this initial bid, but reports are suggesting that if they return with a £2o million bid, it could be accepted.

The Hammers fans over by the pool table here in the Transfer Tavern think that this could be a shrewd purchase, but are wary about the price-tag considering the age of the striker.
