West Ham United & Sunderland target told he can leave

obraniak.jpgWest Ham United crashed out of the Capital One Cup last night and it has led to many of the Hammers in the Football Transfer Tavern wondering whether they need to further improve their squad.

And it seems like Hammers boss Sam Allardyce is feeling the same way as according to talkSPORT, West Ham are interested in Werder Bremen midfielder Ludovic Obraniak.

The Poland international, who was born in France, has reportedly been told he is no longer in the plans of Werder boss Robin Dutt.

The news is said to have travelled fast with Sunderland also now interested in the 29-year old.

He only moved to Bremen from French outfit Bordeaux in January of this year but it appears his time in Germany could soon come to an end.

At the time, the midfielder admitted that he had received offers from England and those clubs now look to be interested again upon hearing the news.

The Polish international has 35 full caps for his country and both clubs will be interested in luring the experienced midfielder to the Premier League.
