West Ham United to make French youth international their first signing?

niang.jpgI’m not allowed to type what the West Ham United fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are really saying about Sam Allardyce.

But I’ll give you a hint, it’s not nice and there’s lots of expletives being used!

The former Bolton Wanderers and Newcastle United boss managed to keep hold of his job at Upton Park, much to the dismay of Hammers fans, as long as he agreed to play a better brand of football.

And according to the Daily Mail, he has targeted AC Milan striker M’Baye Niang to get the ball rolling.

The 19-year-old was chased by Premier League trio Everton, Tottenham and Arsenal just 18 months ago.

But the striker decided to leave Caen for Italy and linked up with AC Milan and became their second youngest ever scorer.

But the French Under-21 international found himself back in France in January after a poor start to the campaign saw him shipped off to Montpellier on loan.

The loan deal was cut short though after Niang was handed a suspended jail term for his involvement in a hit and run accident.

A £4 million transfer fee has been agreed should the loan deal prove successful.

West Ham fans. Andy Carroll, Ravel Morrison and now M’Baye Niang. Why do West Ham always try to sign players with previous off-field  history? Let us know your thoughts below.
