Arsenal winger Theo Walcott is a £25 million target for London rivals West Ham United this summer, according to the London Evening Standard.
The 27-year-old has struggled for form over the past 18 months and was left out of the England squad for Euro 2016, with serious doubts raised over his immediate future with the Gunners.
Walcott has grown frustrated over the lack of first-team involvement and could seek pastures new during the summer, with many of the West Ham United faithful present here in the Transfer Tavern hopeful of his arrival.
One stumbling block could be Walcott’s £140,000 per-week wages and he could have to take a considerable cut in order to seal a move to the Hammers.
One West Ham United fan is sat waiting for the Monday night quiz to begin and he thinks that Walcott would be a fantastic addition to the current crop of Hammers talent, stating that he feels the player would fit the ethos of West Ham United.
West Ham fans, would you welcome Walcott’s arrival? Who else should the club sign this summer?
