Any Hammers fans drinking in the Transfer Tavern? Off course there are! And this line of news is for you lads…
According to The Sun, The Hammers are looking to bring Real Madrid starlet Martin Odegaard to the Premier League on-loan.
Real Madrid Castilla bosses are keen for the Norwiegen wonderkid to go out and gain some first-team experience in a competitive league, and there would be no better place than at West Ham.
With a swanky new stadium, European football to offer and a big domestic campaign ahead, the chance to turn out for the Hammers would be ideal for the youngsters’ development.
And its thought that Slaven Bilic’s side are set to make a move quickest, with a whole host of teams interested in signing the 17-year-old attacking midfielder.
The move would also cover injury problems too, after Manuel Lanzini was ruled out for up to five weeks with a knee injury.
So Hammers fans, do you like the sound of the Madrid youngster spending some time in East London? Let us know in the comments below!
