West Ham fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are desperate for Croatian boss, Slaven Bilic, to keep spending in the wake of Andre Ayew’s four month lay off.
West Ham chairman David Gold announced on Twitter this week that record signing Andre Ayew would have to undergo surgery and is set for a four month stint on the sidelines.
Sad news. Ayew has injured his quadriceps and will need surgery. He will be out for 4 months. Good luck Andre. dg pic.twitter.com/zL4Rph25TY

According to the Daily Mail, the Irons are chasing out-of-favour Man City striker, Wilfried Bony in order to add to their attacking armoury.
The former Swansea man has fallen out of favour in Pep Guardiola’s squad and has been linked with a move away this summer.
The Ivory Coast international bagged 35 goals in 70 appearances but has only managed 11 in 46 since his move to the Etihad, in January 2015.
Our landlord reckons that despite the inevitable expenditure, Bony would be a canny addition to the side at the London Stadium, as he is a man with a point to prove after a disappointing career slump.
Meanwhile, the Hammers fans enjoying a pint of TT ale at the bar feel that this would be a fantastic addition to the squad, and hope Bony can rekindle the form he showcased at the Liberty Stadium with Swansea!
West Ham fans, we want to hear from you! Would you like to see Bony in claret and blue? Do you still need to add up front? Let us know in the comments below!
