West Ham United appear to be in the transfer market for a new left-back as Manuel Pellegrini is not convinced with his current options.
The Greece international had been watched by the sporting director as he looks to help Pellegrini bolster a position that the manager is not quite happy with at the moment.
It is understood that the Chilean is not convinced with Arthur Masuaku or Aaron Cresswell and wants to add someone in January to help strengthen the area.
The 23-year-old, who was born in Brazil, is a pacy player and also offers an attacking threat with the way he plays, something that could certainly interest Pellegrini.
West Ham did not decide to strengthen the left-back position in the summer when Pellegrini completed an overhaul of the squad, however, it now appears that it could be time for a change.
Koutris would certainly be considered an upgrade on Masuaku and Cresswell, as he would offer them more going forward than the current pair do.
With Husillos watching the player personally in international action, a move could be very likely, although it will remain to be seen if Olympiakos will be willing to sell the player to the London Stadium outfit.
