Our West Ham fans here in the Transfer Tavern are feeling pretty down today and, for once this season, it’s not actually because of their players.
It’s been a tough season for the Hammers but there was a real sense of relief last weekend after they beat Swansea to help allay some fears of them going down.
Even so, it’s still been a troublesome year and recently an image has emerged of Upton Park in mid-demolition that has really hit our Hammers hard.
Indeed, most never wanted to leave the famous old ground and this image – uploaded on Twitter by stadium aficionado Vince Taylor – has got plenty of people talking:
