Andriy Yarmolenko must start for West Ham against Wolves

West Ham United find themselves in a spot of bother having failed to secure any points from their opening three Premier League fixtures.

The Hammers have gotten off to the worst possible start under Manuel Pellegrini as the South American continues to adjust to life back in the Premier League. Indeed, there’s no doubt that the London club have one of the strongest squads in the division after investing heavily in the summer, but the players just haven’t gelled together thus far.

Indeed, West Ham United will welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to the London Stadium later on today in what will be a hotly anticipated encounter, with both teams searching for their first win of the campaign.

Interestingly, one man who failed to earn a starting place in the side last time out against Arsenal was summer signing Andriy Yarmolenko, who is currently valued at £18 million (by Transfermarkt).

The Ukrainian hasn’t really featured that much for the Hammers so far this season as he seems to have taken up more of a squad rotation role at the minute. But, there’s no doubt that he could play a massive part as the campaign progresses, with his experience and pace causing all sorts of problems in the latter stages of matches.

Wolves have struggled against pace and skill so far this season as they were often undone by Raheem Sterling at Molineux last time out, so it would be an idea for Manuel Pellegrini to let him have a free run at the Midlands club.
