Bilic facing battle at West Ham ahead of crunch fixtures

As life at the London Stadium took another sour turn on Friday night, the West Ham United fans propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern have been mulling over reports from the Sun all weekend.

It was claimed back on Saturday that manager Slaven Bilic has just two games to save his job in east London after a shocking start to the maiden campaign in their new home.

While relegation fears have somewhat subsided, with the Irons sitting seven points above the drop zone, they were royally thumped by Manchester City 5-0 in the FA Cup in front of a frustrated home crowd.

Now, it is believed the Croatian has been given TWO games to convince top brass he is the man to lead the Hammers forward into a new era.

Many of our locals believe he is the right man, following a wonderful season last time out, though there’s a growing feeling amongst our drinkers the club could wield their axe.

Owners David Gold and David Sullivan are reportedly concerned the former Besiktas boss has lost the ability to motivate the players and the 48-year-old faces huge ties with Crystal Palace and Middlesbrough in the coming weeks.

Should West Ham stick with Bilic? Let us know below…
