There’s few fans here in the Transfer Tavern that have been put through the mill more this season than our West Ham bunch.
A season that promised hope and ambition at the beginning has been anything but to now leave the club looking at mid-table safety at best this season.
Indeed, our resident Hammers would probably settle for that right now with the way things have gone this year and, according to The Mirror, Slaven Bilic is still under pressure.
The Croatian boss, like his club, has had a completely different season to 2015/16 and his stock has surely decreased in value.
Indeed, many of our West Ham punters here by the bar have called for him to be sacked this year and, after their side lost 4-0 at home to Man City, he’s still got plenty to do to win them all back round.
In fact, the report believes that Roberto Mancini could replace him at the London Stadium in what would be an eye-catching appointment.
The Italian is a serial trophy winner – including winning the Premier League – and our landlord thinks he’d be a very impressive person to have in charge in east London.
