‘Broken record’ – West Ham fans fume on Twitter at club’s post after weekend draw

West Ham fans here in the Tavern are beginning to lose their minds, as their side continues to pull off poor results with no change, leading to some angered response.

During pre-season, West Ham were one of the sides tipped to have had the best summer transfer window, which gave the fans high hopes heading into the new season. However, this isn’t how it’s panned out as a new signings struggle to gel together under Croatian, Slaven Bilic. Currently sitting in 16th position, the Hammers have had a torrid time of it as they endure relegation form. So with their Premier League status in the balance, there is added intent into an improved start as he struggles to find the winning formula.

Last time out they made a trip away to London to face fellow strugglers Crystal Palace as they look to pick up a valuable 3 points. Having knocked the in-form Spurs out of the Carabao Cup in midweek with a spirited comeback from 2-0 down, they will be hoping that the same doesn’t happen to them, against a side who like themselves have a point to prove.

Still, while they looked promising after opening up a 2-0 lead, before being pegged back, as defensive mistakes and sloppy decisions continued to undermine their good attacking work.

After yet another abysmal performance the Hammers faithful are losing their patience with gaffer Slaven Bilic as they all call for his head. Post-match, Joe Hart spoke to press as he asserted that “We have to iron out the negatives, take the positives and move on”.
