Our West Ham fans here in the Transfer Tavern have enjoyed the way things have turned around this season and, ahead of their game next weekend against Watford, David Gold has delivered some good news.
The Hammers looked worryingly like relegation candidates earlier this season as things fell apart all around them but Slaven Bilic and his men have done a fine repair job since.
Those fears of the drop have all but gone now and the club can try and focus on earning a respectable top ten finish between now and May.
They’ve got a weekend off coming up with FA Cup action taking centre-stage but things get back up and running next weekend as they travel to Watford.
And it appears that they’ll have a pretty strong squad available to them for that game with co-owner David Gold offering the latest fitness update via his official Twitter account:
We should be able to put out a strong squad against Watford with Andy Carroll, Arthur Masuaku, Sam Byram and Andre Ayew all returning. dg https://t.co/5bJJMtKynJ

The news has certainly been welcomed by our local Hammers here by the bar – particularly of that involving Andy Carroll who has been huge in the club’s upturn in form.
