West Ham supporters in the Transfer Tavern finally found their voice earlier this week after seeing their side register their first Premier League win of the season on Monday.
The Hammers lost their opening three league games of the campaign to heap even greater pressure on manager Slaven Bilic, but his players responded with a comfortable 2-0 victory over newly-promoted Huddersfield Town on Monday night, their first game of the season at the London Stadium.
And a 0-0 draw away at West Brom on Saturday saw the East London outfit get off the mark away from home as well, although they remain in the bottom three at this early stage of the campaign.
West Ham were one of several Premier League sides busy over the summer in a bid to strengthen their squad ahead of the campaign, but one man that got away from them was Borussia Dortmund forward Andre Schurrle, formerly of London rivals Chelsea.
The 26-year-old made the move to the Bundesliga outfit only last year but has struggled to make a meaningful impact at the Westfalenstadion, and was subsequently linked with a deadline day move to Bilic’s West Ham.
However, no deal materialised but that shouldn’t stop the Hammers going in for him again come the New Year, as here is what their potent front line could look like if the German World Cup winner does indeed move to East London…
