West Ham United are desperately scrapping for a prolific forward this summer following a twelve month period of being linked to every forward who has netted themselves twenty goals.
Admittedly, the Hammers do need a new man up top to rely on for their European push and that is possibly why German news outlet Blid (via the Express) are linking the Premier League club to swoop for ex-Manchester United man Javier Hernandez.
The 29-year-old netted eleven league goals last term and fans by the bar have now tipped the Mexican as their priority transfer target, demanding the West Ham United owners pursue him as a potential addition.

There is no doubt that Hernandez would re-install faith into the side’s front line, however, there are plenty of strikers who could be just as beneficial to Slaven Bilic’s ambitions for a margin of the price.
