The West Ham fans in the Transfer Tavern are gaining more confidence every game at the moment with the club nearing ever closer to remaining in the Premier League. Fans have not been happy with transfer dealings of late so this badly needs improving this summer if the Hammers want to push up the table.
Fans understand that not every transfer will be the perfect fit for their club but West Ham have had more than their fair share of bad players arriving, even since their switch to the London Stadium. More the case these days, the Hammers have been getting rid of players without lining up adequate replacements, much to the annoyance of supporters.
This summer regardless of staying up or not, West Ham will need to delve into the transfer market for players who can greatly improve their squad. A player our punters think would do just that is Kenedy, the Brazilian winger currently on-loan at Newcastle who is valued at £6.30 million on Transfermarkt. Having been loaned out by Chelsea in order to get regular football, Kenedy has been one of the big influencers in steering the Magpies away from the relegation zone.
Since arriving in January, the 22-year-old has two goals and two assists but also his all-round contribution to the team has been terrific. From his tricky skills to beat a man, to the ability to play a delightful cross-field pass, Kenedy has shown to have the makings of a very talented winger.
Having played so well at St James’ Park, Kenedy has accumulated much interest from around the Premier League, although West Ham have a real lack of out and out wingers, which if they act quick and capture the 22-year-old, would amend that problem greatly.
