Investing in Ntcham wouldn’t be a bad idea for West Ham

Investing in Ntcham wouldn’t be a bad idea for West Ham

West Ham are a sinking ship at the moment but if there was a manager to help stop the rot, it would be Manuel Pellegrini, a top manager that is currently at their disposal.

After spending a lot of time and effort trying to get Pellegrini to be West Ham’s manager, there has actually been talk of sacking him after just four competitive games in charge.

West Ham spent north of £100 million in the summer and although things haven’t gone to plan during the start to the new Premier League season, however, the Hammers can’t just give up on such a significant investment just like that, they need to keep building.

The way things are going, January could be a crucial period for West Ham and due to their troublesome midfield, a top box-to-box midfielder needs to be recruited, someone like Celtic’s Ntcham.

Olivier Ntcham, who is valued at £2.7 million on Transfermarkt, has so far proven this season exactly why the Hammers were sniffing around him prior to this season. After moving to Celtic, the Frenchman has been given the stage to show off his talents and what an impression he has made.

The 22-year-old has played 12 games already this season, bossing the midfield and providing four goals for the Hoops, including the winning goal to see off deadly rivals Rangers, something that will make him even more loved around Celtic Park.

West Ham’s main problems are coming from midfield and based on the progression and form Ntcham has made over the past months, maybe a return to England wouldn’t be a long shot after all.

Do you agree that West Ham should target Ntcham… Let us know!
