Changes do need to be made to their team if they want to get anywhere though and Issa Diop, who is their £20+ million signing, needs to be brought into the heart of defence.
The Frenchman became West Ham’s record signing at the time of arrival but since the start of the season, he is still awaiting his Premier League debut. Winston Reid has been a great servant to West Ham but his career of late has been disrupted by injury all too often.
