West Ham United fans here in the Tavern are extremely worried about their current position, as they continue to flirt with the possibility of relegation to the Championship.
The Hammers have struggled to string together a positive run of results in recent times, with many of our local residents beginning to fear the worst. Indeed, defeat against Burnley at the London Stadium was certainly a day to forget for the club, as there were toxic scenes at the full-time whistle with supporters hurling abuse at the owners.
However, with David Gold and David Sullivan still at the club despite all the fan unrest, they could look to relieve David Moyes of his managerial duties in the summer months as a response to protests. So, the Hammers must be sure that they’ve got a suitable replacement lined up if they decide to do so, as they’ll want to avoid making another managerial mistake.
