Journalist: This is what Bilic did during international break in positive news for West Ham

Having gone into the international break off the back of a win, the West Ham United fans in the Transfer Tavern have been able to breathe easy. 

While it’s not looking like a vintage year for the Hammers once again, the punters propping up our bar are oh so hopeful that Slaven Bilic can turn things around in east London, such is the nature of his popularity.

Though the jury is still out in regards to whether or not he is actually the right man for the job, despite how well-liked he is, at least there has been some positive injury news ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Turf Moor to take on Burnley.

As revealed by injury data analyst Ben Dinnery on Twitter, Bilic used the international break to run the rule over the likes of Andy Caroll, Manuel Lanzini, Michail Antonio and Edimlson Fernandes, following their respective injury concerns during the early part of the campaign.

Indeed, Dinnery further delivers quotes from Bilic detailing that only James Collins will miss the game, so the Irons certainly have a strong squad from which to choose ahead of their Lancashire visit tomorrow.

Landlord’s Verdict: 

When you look at the players mentioned, West Ham really do have a strong squad. With all back in contention, Bilic certainly does have options when it comes to turning things around.
