‘Just stop’ – West Ham United fans angry in response as club continue positive tweets

West Ham fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to yet another club statement. After yesterday’s interview with Mark Noble was tweeted by the club, today they’ve posted a link to the West Ham website, which contains the same interview with more comments from the club’s captain.

The Hammers propping up our bar are starting to get sick of all the club statements though, as the shocking performances keep coming from the club, the fans want to see less bark and more bite from Mark Noble and co. The Stratford club currently find themselves three points clear of the drop zone with eight games remaining as the fans strap themselves in for what is sure to be a rollercoaster ride of a relegation battle.

The situation at the London Stadium reached boiling point last weekend as the club fell to their third consecutive defeat by a three-goal margin. The atmosphere among the Hammers quickly turned sour and the game was marred by a number of pitch invasions from frustrated fans. The club will be looking to turn their recent form around as they’re currently taking part in a warm-weather training camp in Miami before their home game against Southampton at the end of March.
