Landing £5.4m-rated attacker would be excellent transfer business for West Ham

Here in the Transfer Tavern, Hammers fans are desperate to keep adding points to boost their team’s chances of beating-off relegation worries again this season.

Since Moyes took over at West Ham in November, the Irons have looked a much fitter and generally better all round team. Now West Ham look to have a stronger chance of remaining in the Premier League this season and to help them push up the table next time out, this young French winger could be a great bit of business.

The player we’re talking about is 21-year-old winger Jonathan Bamba, valued at £5.4 million on Transfermarkt. The exciting, pacey winger has been a bright spark in Saint-Etienne’s attack this season, having grabbed 7 goals and 7 assists for the French side.

West Ham desperately seem to lack pace throughout their team and with the infusion of fresh pace, West Ham may just look a lot more direct next season. All the better Premier League sides have pace in every position so if the Hammers are to improve, then adding pace is the way to do that.

Bamba has attracted a lot of attention from a number of clubs but if West Ham could be the team to grab his signature, they could have a very promising youngster on their hands.

Thoughts Hammers?
