West Ham United: Fans fuming after claims David Moyes is open to selling Declan Rice

West Ham United manager David Moyes would be open to selling Declan Rice in the summer transfer window irrespective of the division that they are playing in, that is according to Claret & Hugh.
It is suggested, though, that the Scottish manager would demand a fee of £90 million for the 21-year-old in order to let him leave the London Stadium.
Whilst it has been an extremely disappointing season for the Hammers, indeed they currently sit in the relegation zone (BBC Sport), the performances of Rice have still been a positive. In his 25 appearances, on average, the England international wins 4.5 ground duels, makes 3.1 tackles, 2.0 interceptions and 1.2 clearances per game whilst he also completes 87% of his passes (SofaScore).
It is therefore clear to see that Rice is a key cog in the Hammers’ midfield and losing him would leave a gigantic hole in their team. There is likely to be lots of interest in him though, with Manchester United one club who could try and sign him having reportedly sent scouts to watch him in a game against Sheffield United back in January (Daily Mail).
However, understandably most West Ham fans do not want to lose the young midfielder at any cost. Several have taken to Twitter and are fuming that they could lose Rice, with many insisting that it would be an awful decision from the club if they did let him leave in the summer.
Will Declan Rice leave West Ham in 2020?
Yes

No

Here is what some had to say…
The fact that David Moyes is open to selling Declan Rice in the Summer shows how clueless he is about management at PL level. His openness to selling Rice shows he should not be West Ham manager.

Worse thing the club could do, need to build a team around him. Can’t keep selling your best players, it’s got to stop
