West Ham United find themselves in a spot of bother at the foot of the Premier League table, with relegation already a worry at this early stage.
The Hammers were on the receiving end of a 1-0 defeat against Wolverhampton Wanderers prior to the international break, so they’ll be desperate to secure their first three points of the campaign later on today.
However, West Ham will travel to Goodison Park to face an impressive Everton side in their next Premier League encounter. The Toffees are still yet to lose a game in the current campaign, so the Hammers will have to do everything they possibly can to come away with a positive result later on today.
Nevertheless, Manuel Pellegrini has some decisions to make in terms of team selection, with a couple of players possibly forcing their way into the side.
With that in mind, these TWO West Ham United men must start today…
The Ukrainian managed to score a penalty during the international break and put in an impressive display against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Hammers’ last outing.
However, the winger hasn’t played a huge part in the current campaign due to Pellegrini’s decision to keep him on the substitutes’ bench.
But, against an Everton side that have been questioned on their defensive solidity in recent weeks, West Ham could really benefit from the 28-year-old’s height and quality in the final third.
Mark Noble lives and breathes for West Ham United but he could only make the substitutes’ bench last week after returning from injury.
So, Manuel Pellegrini must insert him back into the starting lineup to face Everton as the Hammers gave the ball away far too often in the middle of midfield against Wolves, so his experience and calmness will definitely be a blessing in midfield areas during their next fixture.
