West Ham United fans in the Transfer Tavern will be feeling more confident of their Premier League survival this season and will be looking for the club to invest in new players to help strengthen their aims.
The Hammers have had a miserable time off the pitch with a number of supporters becoming frustrated with the way their team has been run and are wanting some changes to happen fairly quickly.
One player that has not been happy since he arrived at the club due to the amount of game time he has had is Javier Hernandez and reports in the Mirror claim he could look to depart in the summer. The Mexico international had a transfer request blocked in January as he looked to get regular football ahead of this summer’s World Cup.
David Moyes is not a big fan of Chicharito, despite not letting him leave in the winter, but the forward has hinted he may look to force a move away again. As you can imagine, our resident Irons are split on the matter. A popular figure he may be, the punters propping up our bar haven’t yet be convinced by him.
“You never know, because in the winter period I wanted to find my way out to have more minutes and could not,” he told the Mirror.
Locals in the Tavern will be disappointed with the way the former Manchester United striker has been used since arriving in the summer for fairly big money, however, many would be happy for him to depart if it meant they could raise money for someone else to come in and make an impact.
