West Ham United haven’t gotten off to the best of starts under Manuel Pellegrini, but things could all change in the near future.
The Hammers find themselves at the foot of the table after a poor start to proceedings, but it’s safe to say that Manuel Pellegrini is the perfect man to help them climb up the table.
Indeed, things weren’t all positive in the last campaign as former manager David Moyes struggled to ensure consistency as his side flirted with the possibility of relegation at times.
Therefore, here’s a look at THREE reasons as to why Pellegrini is outshining Moyes at West Ham…
On the transfer front
Manuel Pellegrini received full backing from the owners during the summer transfer window as he drafted in a number of players for a large amount of money.
However, the same can’t be said about Moyes as not much trust was put into his plans, which could be the reason behind the club’s inconsistencies last season.
So, it’s clear to see that the club are all about Pellegrini’s aims and want to enjoy success under the South American.
Premier League knowledge
Manuel Pellegrini has a very accomplished CV which includes the Premier League title from his time at Manchester City earlier on in his managerial career.
However, David Moyes has never really managed to achieve anything major during his managerial career other than progression, so West Ham United are safe in the hands of their current boss despite the poor start.
Style of play
Manuel Pellegrini loves to play an attractive, positive style of football at the London Stadium and has enjoyed some success from this in attacking areas. But, things are still a working progress so supporters can come to expect the results that go with it in the near future.
Indeed, Moyes chopped and changed his formation on a number of occasions and often set his side up to secure a negative result in some matches.
