The West Ham fans in and around the Transfer Tavern are hopeful of enjoying a much brighter season than last, this time under the guidance of Manuel Pellegrini.

The Hammers already look in better shape to enjoy a stronger campaign than the end of last season, having splashed the cash on three new stars in the form of Lukasz Fabianski, Issa Diop and Ryan Fredricks. Their team already looks more threatening and if they want to continue that approach, then our punters believe West Ham should try and sign Kasper Dolberg, who is valued at £10.8 million on Transfermarkt.

The Danish striker who plays his football for Dutch giants Ajax again enjoyed a good season in-front of goal, scoring 9 times in all competitions. Having burst onto the scene one year before when scoring 23 times, the 20-year-old is getting into the game, learning and developing as he continues his growth with Ajax. West Ham have a number of forwards that face uncertain futures and with that in mind, regarding Kasper Dolberg as an adequate replacement would be a smart idea.

West Ham moved to the London Stadium in order to compete with the biggest teams in the league but so far, they have just regressed. That was part of the plan for sure but eyeing young talents like Dolberg will only improve the Hammers chances of being more successful next year. They now have a top manager in Manuel Pellegrini, now the owners have to be wise and back him financially to improve the chances of a better future.
