Perfect weekend: West Ham United

Perfect weekend: West Ham United - West Ham
West Ham United have been rather impressive in recent times as they appear to be progressing under Manuel Pellegrini at long last.

Indeed, the Hammers started their campaign off in the worst possible way but things look to be picking up as they continue to climb away from the danger zone.

The London club will be looking to build on their last few results when they take on Brighton and Hove Albion prior to Saturday’s action. It’s vital that the Hammers can continue to ensure consistency by securing all three points against tough opposition, with the points going a long way towards building even more confidence.

Of course, picking up maximum points and climbing even further up the table would be the ideal situation.

With that in mind, here is the perfect weekend for the Hammers…

West Ham United suffered four-straight Premier League defeats to kick off their campaign, but things have taken a turn for the better recently as they’re currently on a four-game unbeaten streak in all competitions.

Indeed, the Hammers won’t get too carried away after their disappointing start to proceedings, but they’ll certainly be keen to extend their unbeaten streak against Brighton.

Extending their streak would be the perfect Friday night for supporters, with celebrations going long into the night.

Felipe Anderson made the move to West Ham United from Italian side Lazio during the summer transfer window for a club-record fee. But, it’s safe to say that the Brazilian is yet to really hit top form at the London Stadium, with just one goal and two assists to show for his efforts so far.

However, he did manage to grab his first goal for the club against Manchester United last weekend in what was a very accomplished performance from the 25-year-old, so supporters will be hoping for more of the same.
