‘Play him’ – West Ham fans on Twitter urge Moyes to start star after club’s post

The West Ham fans in the Transfer Tavern have been calling for Mexican poacher, Javier Hernandez to be given a start after the club posted a picture of the striker with the caption “COME ON YOU IRONS!!” Hernandez scored an important equaliser in last Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and now the fans want to see him turn out against Stoke tonight.

The weekend’s results were relatively kind to West Ham. Southampton, Brighton, Huddersfield and Swansea all failed to win, giving David Moyes’ side the chance to capitalise on a huge home game against Stoke tonight. The London Stadium will be rocking and even more so if they get to see their star striker’s Javier Hernandez and Marko Arnautovic line up together from the off.

The Hammers propping our bar up are growing tired of seeing Hernandez on the bench and after his well-taken goal at Chelsea last Sunday, the fans will be expecting their star to start. Chicharito has eight goals and one assist in his 25 Premier League appearances for the club this season and will be hoping he can reach double figures by the end of the season. The London Stadium faithful look like they’ll live to fight another day in the Premier League as they’re now six points clear of the drop zone and have a chance to make that nine points tonight.
