Our West Ham fans here in the Transfer Tavern are seriously looking forward to seeing their side get going in the Premier League this season.
The men from the London Stadium have had a superb summer in terms of signings with the likes of Joe Hart and Javier Hernandez arriving in eye-catching deals.
For sure, then, things are looking more impressive than they did last summer and Slaven Bilic will be hoping his players can get going quickly in order to challenge for some European spots.
Certainly, then, it’s an exciting time at the club at the moment and Jack Sullivan has revealed on Twitter that the Mexican striker Hernandez is likely to feature for them tonight in a friendly:

For sure, then, the striker is set to don the Claret and Blue and Hammers fans are surely excited to see their new forward run out on the turf and start scoring goals.
Indeed, this could just mark the beginning of the end of Andy Carroll’s stay. The powerful England international is once again injured and it’s looking increasingly likely now that he will be a squad player instead of first team regular.
Hernandez is a top class player and could at last be the striker West Ham need.
If they’d had him last season they’d have surely not been worried about relegation for most of the campaign and so this year could just see him fire them towards the European spots in the table.
