West Ham United fans in the Transfer Tavern will be excited with how things have been moving forward since the appointment of Manuel Pellegrini, and will be hoping for a couple more deals to happen.
The Chilean has already completed three deals so far this summer following his arrival to the London Stadium, and the locals could be ready to see a few more new faces arrive in East London in the coming weeks.
And, according to a report in Italy, TuttoMecartoWeb are claiming that the Hammers are interested in Sevilla’s Joaquin Correa, and have already opened talks with the player’s agent regarding a move to the capital.
The Argentina international would help to replace the injured Manuel Lanzini in the first team and has proven to be a talented left winger during his time with the Spanish outfit.
The 23-year-old has managed to score seven times, as well as provide a further seven assists, across all competitions last season, with Pellegrini seeking to add another deal in a bid to rebuild the West Ham squad into one capable of challenging for the European spots this season.
Landlord’s Verdict: Correa would be a welcome addition by many of the West Ham locals in the Tavern if the club were able to do a move for him.
As mentioned, he would slot straight into the team where Lanzini would have been, and would offer them a real attacking threat down the left-hand side.
