Our West Ham fans here in the Transfer Tavern want to see the togetherness they showed at the weekend for the rest of the season and, despite him appearing coy in The Daily Star, they’re hoping Robert Snodgrass can be a part of that.
The Hammers have famously seen Dimitri Payet want out during this window but that did not seem to bother the players who were on the pitch at the weekend as they beat Crystal Palace 3-0.
The squad showed fight and togetherness throughout that game and they’ll be hoping Slaven Bilic can bring in players that help consolidate that feeling.
Certainly, Snodgrass has interested West Ham but the Hull City talisman appears to not be fussed by all the rumours at the moment and is instead concentrating on the Tigers’ fight against the drop.
The former Norwich midfielder said:
“Let people talk.
“It’s for you guys to talk, not for me. I’m here and that’s why the manager has got me in the team, to work hard for my team-mates.”
Snodgrass appears focused on the task at hand at the KCOM Stadium, then, and with them beating Bournemouth at the weekend there’s every chance they could still stay up.
The Tigers moved up to 18th in the table with that win and the way they have been playing in recent weeks has suggested they’ve got plenty left to offer this season.
