Our West Ham fans here in the Transfer Tavern are looking forward to the season being over with it not exactly going to plan this time out.
The men from the London Stadium have been in a poor way all year, in truth, and there has been very few highlights to cheer about since the start of the campaign.
Naturally, then, they are hoping for a better 2017/18 but it whilst they wait for that it makes sense to at least try and find some positives from 2016/17.
And, after Emre Can’s fine goal for Liverpool yesterday, Hammers fans were reminded of the great overhead kick Andy Carroll scored earlier in the season.
Indeed, Jack Sullivan was quick to ask who’s goal was better on Twitter and that, naturally, brought in some reaction.
Here, then, is the best of what was said:
Who’s was better? i dunno why but I prefer andy’s, it was a Rocket!! pic.twitter.com/qAAcjJPGey
