Surely Pellegrini is fearful this West Ham duo will leave the London Stadium soon

West Ham United fans here in the Tavern are hoping that Manuel Pellegrini can bring success to the London Stadium in the next campaign. Although, the former Manchester City boss will need to ensure that the club have a successful summer.

The Hammers had a season to forget last time out as they almost suffered relegation to the Championship after putting in poor performance after poor performance. But, with Manuel Pellegrini now in charge at the London Stadium, things are looking up for West Ham United.

Of course, the South American will look to add his own touch to things in the English capital and has already looked to bring in some fresh faces. But, his hard work won’t stop there as there’re still plenty of changes that need to be made before the start of the new campaign.

Although, he may face difficulties when it comes to keeping players at the club as all of the recent signings may have pushed current club members towards the exits.

With that being said, surely Pellegrini is fearful this West Ham duo will leave the London Stadium soon…

Javier Hernandez

The Mexican had a disastrous first season at the London Stadium as he failed to make a positive impact, and many of our local residents wanted to see the back of him.

However, the striker was one of Mexico’s standout performers at the World Cup and he even managed to bag himself a goal, so perhaps the Hammers will look to give him another chance next season.

Worryingly, Javier Hernandez was linked with a move away before he travelled to Russia as his West Ham United career looked to be over, but perhaps new boss Manuel Pellegrini will be able to persuade him to stay.

Andy Carroll

Andy Carroll suffered through injury and a lack of involvement on the field last season as he was overlooked at times by former boss David Moyes.

Although, with Manuel Pellegrini now at the helm, the Englishman may become a huge part of the South American’s plans having seen how effect Edin Dzeko was under the Hammers boss during his Manchester City days.

But, with West Ham being linked with other strikers in recent months, perhaps Carroll will decide to leave amid speculation that he’ll drop to the substitutes’ bench once again next season.
